About Me

My photo
Now I'm BUSTED
On Friday May 2nd, 2003, I was diagnosed with intraductal and infiltrating duct carcinoma in my left breast. The mass was discovered in a routine annual mammogram. Two weeks later I walked in to Cedars Sinai to have the tumor removed.Six months later another mass in my left breast, plus several very small cancerous spots in the right were discovered in an MRI screening. In 2003 I had radical bilateral skin sparring but not nipple sparring mastectomies with immediate reconstruction. I did not then nor do I ever want to have poison chemo or radiation pumped into my body. After dealing with cancer, I don't think there are any guarantees in life, so make the best of right now.
